When we apply for a job, we divide our income into different allocations – home loans, bills, savings, etc. However, the money that we earn in our job is from the long hours of work that we do in a week or two and if we don’t work, we don’t get the money and eventually we don’t save enough. Living or surviving – which one do you do?
As early as now, what we need to have is a passive income, a type of income that generates a good income but requires very minimal time for work and no direct involvement required. This type of income can be generated from businesses, network marketing, properties for rent, etc.
Oftentimes, people who reach the age of 60 either depend on their children for financial support or still have to work for they have no other source of income. When we reach retirement, either we end up living in a home for the aged or still work like a horse just to survive.
It is therefore necessary to think about this and assess which kind of life you want to have in the near future. We will all die in the end, but before we do, it is up to us now how we prepare our future. We don’t want to work eight hours a day when we are 65, don’t we?
